Reading Golden Books with Grandma

Visiting Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Wadleigh

Seeing as Jeremy and Emma's Spring Break overlapped by one weekend, we decided to make the most of it and take a trip to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Wadleigh in Illinois. We drove down on Friday morning, arriving just in time for supper. Emma and Lucy had a great time playing "office" at Grandpa's desk. The bunny that Lucy is holding in this picture sort of dances when you squeeze its hand and it sings "Little Bunny Foo Foo"...quite loudly I might add! Lucy enjoyed reading Little Golden Books with Grandma before bed. Both Emma and Lucy watched Snow White with Grandma before we left on Sunday. Lucy wasn't too sure about that wicked Queen, but she also couldn't take her eyes off the movie! Sophie had a great time crawling all over the house. Except for the two hours in the middle of the night that she thought were time to play, she was the perfect little traveler. She had lots of entertainment in the car and didn't even cry until the last 15 minutes of our 9 hour drive!
