Wow! I can't believe we are finished with first grade. It doesn't seem possible that I could have a second grader now. Emma has mixed emotions about summer because she will miss her friends and school. She just loves it! Her last day involved a picnic, movies and a huge thunderstorm at the end of the school day. Jeremy had to pick the kids up at the bus stop because it was raining so hard. We are looking forward to having Emma home with us this summer (especially Lucy!) We are so happy she will have Mrs. Finkel again in the fall for second grade. She will go into the school year knowing all her classmates and what her teacher expects. It's sort of a win/win situation!
