We took the girls last weekend to see the 8th floor display which was "A Day in the Life of an Elf" this year. We decided to go right when the store opened, which was a good thing because we already had to stand in line. The girls all loved it. Sophie loved all the lights and action. She didn't want to get any too near the elves that moved though. Emma and Lucy had a great time pouring over toy catalogs the night before to write their letters to Santa. They have very grand lists this year. About a week after our visit to Macys, we went to see Santa. Emma was the only one willing to sit with him and visit. Lucy was happy to watch from afar and Sophie wanted nothing to do with him. I highly doubt we will ever have a picture of all three with Santa!
