Sophie had her first minor surgery last week. She had tubes put in her ears. We know the drill now as we've gone through this procedure 3 other times with Emma and Lucy. The Children's Hospital we use could not be any better. She had a great time playing with all the toys and spotting all the animals on the ceiling before surgery. She didn't cry a bit. She was pretty feisty though when it was all over. The nurses offered her some juice after surgery and we tried to get her to sip it slowly, but she would have none of that. She wanted ALL of it! I think she must have cried for 30 minutes. Finally, we just decided to take her home and then she calmed down.
