Lucy the monarch for her Kindergarten party.
My little chicken
Ready for Candy
Lucy's pumpkin
Emma and Sophie's pumpkinsWe had a gypsy (Emma), butterfly (Lucy), and a chicken (Sophie) for Halloween. There was a great debate as to whether or not Sophie would actually wear a costume. All week long she rejected all three costumes we have in her size. (Chicken, Elmo, and Scarecrow) She liked the idea of getting candy though enough that she was more than willing to put on the chicken Halloween night. I was glad she chose that one because it was only about 40 degrees here. The chicken was quite warm! She was right up there with the girls and ready to say "trick or treat" and "thank you!" She would be seen most of the night with a sucker in her mouth! Jeremy carved some great pumpkins with the girls too. Lucy's was a cat, Emma's was a ghost and Sophie's was a happy jack-o-lantern! When we were finished trick-or-treating, we had a bonfire with our neighbors. It was a fun night!
