We decided to take the girls to the Hollidazzle this year. Typically we would go to the Macy's 8th floor display, but seeing as they chose to put up the same display as last year, we thought it would be a nice change to actually see the parade. It was the warmest day of the week...a balmy 28 degrees. We picked Jeremy up from school and drove right downtown. We decided to eat a quick supper at Jimmy John's. The girls love it. We chose our spot to stand and watch the parade. A few minutes before it starts they shut off all the street lights so you get the full effect. It was so fun to watch Sophie. She kept leaning way out into the street to see the next float. Emma was a bit cold by the time it was over. Next year they want to wear snowpants! I suppose it probably isn't a bad idea!
