This year we had a huge garage sale at our house during a big neighborhood sale. Lucy was off from school on Friday and had a lemonade stand with her friend Kendall. They sold lemonade and cookies which turned out to be quite lucrative. There were a few trips to the store for more lemonade and cookies, from what I hear. On Saturday...it rained! However, that did not stop the "die hard" garage salers! I bought a few packages of refrigerated cookie dough and asked Lucy if she wanted to sell them. She quickly made a sign and set up a make shift table to sell her freshly baked cookies. She sold all 48 cookies during a break from the rain. She earned over $15 and was just tickled!
