It was actually rather chilly on the first day of school this year so they were both happy to wear something new for school. Lucy was so excited to ride the bus with Emma and to be at the same school as her this year. We skipped the traditional root beer floats this year and headed to DQ after supper. Emma has the same teacher again this year because they loop for grades 3 and 4. Lucy has a teacher that she knows because both of her daughters were on her softball team this summer. She couldn't have been more thrilled! I think it's going to be a great year for both of them!
