Emma's Invention
Presenting to the fourth grade.
Creating it with dad.
Fourth Graders at Emma's school are just completing a unit about inventions. They had to go through the process of identifying a problem that exists in their life and look for ways to solve it. Emma chose to tackle the problem of the drawer in our bathroom that holds hair accessories. It's always a complete disaster. She built a holder for all the ponies and hair clips. She and Jeremy went to Home Depot for supplies and spent one snowy Saturday creating it. She presented her invention to the third and fourth grade today. She will wait to hear if she is chosen to go on to a competition at the Mall of America in April.
