Lucy was so excited to get the training wheels put on Emma's old bike. Emma actually needed a new helmet so we bought her one and Lucy claimed Emma's old one. I know there will come a day when she isn't so excited about all of Emma's hand-me-downs, but right now she thinks it's just great! The minute she sat down on the bike, she just took off riding. She's so very proud of herself. She rides down to the end of the block and back. She hasn't figured out how to turn around though, she just hops off and moves the whole bike. As of last week, she would barely pedal her tricycle without being pushed by mom or dad. I guess she was ready for the independence of her "own" bike. All she can think about is riding her bike now. She's out with Emma and Landon each day after school. She can hardly wait for them to get home from school now!
