Meet Emma the Driver!

We had such a beautiful weekend here this past week. Our neighbors Tony and Missy that live two houses down from us have a boat and invited us to go out on Lake Minnetonka with them Saturday morning. They have a little girl, Paige who will turn three in August. Emma and Lucy have had some great summer nights out playing with her in the back yard or on the driveway. We scrounged up enough life jackets for the girls and were out the door by 8:00 a.m. The weather was amazing. The morning after the 4th of July is probably the quietest day of the year out on the lake. Perfect for two families with very small children. They all had a great time. Emma will tell you her favorite part was getting to drive the boat. Lucy will tell you her favorite part was "going fast." And Sophie had a nice little snooze in Jeremy's arms. We were out on the lake about three hours and Lucy didn't ask even once to go potty! We saw a loon up close and many "jump." I know they will be talking about this adventure for days!
