We spent a long weekend up north with my parents at a cabin that they rented on Cedar Lake near Aitkin. The weather was perfect except for a few rain storms. They were just passing over though and we were able to have a little sun. Emma and Lucy enjoyed fishing with grandpa. They loved swimming in the lake, although they never got very wet. Lucy found a few shells that she thought were great. Emma liked jumping off the dock. And Sophie loved to walk up and down the sidewalk. We made S'mores one night. And they loved hearing the loons and seeing them up close. Emma stayed an extra night and had a great time at Paul Bunyan Land. Paul Bunyan said hello and goodbye to her as they entered and exited the park. Apparently she rode the Tilt-a-Whirl three times with Grandma Sharon!
