This picture is for my grandpa. He used to grow these Clematis vines on the farm. These flowers always remind me of him. This one is only a few years old and already this year I had to switch the trellis to a larger one. The thing is huge. It's quite top heavy. We are going to tie it up to the roof of the garage with fishing line this weekend so the whole thing doesn't topple over.

That is beautiful! I love the deep purple color. Clematis remind me of my grandma - how funny. We have them along our back fence, but none as beautiful as this one!
